The Neora Ripple Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to the vision of Making People Better on a global basis. It was established to challenge Brand Partners to individually take responsibility and collectively change the world. The Foundation’s driving intent is to create positive change, or positive ripples, in everyday life. The goal of the Neora Ripple is to pay it forward and create a better world in the process.

5. Who are the Foundation’s partners?

Neora and Independent Brand Partners contribute to Big Brothers Big Sisters as the official charitable partner for the U.S., Canada, Australia and Austria. Big Brothers Big Sisters provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better in the countries it serves.

World Vision International serves as Neora’s non-profit partner in Mexico, Colombia and South Korea for emergency response programming as needed for international disasters. World Vision is a humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.

All partnerships work toward the Neora vision of Making People Better.

6. What has the Neora Ripple Foundation accomplished?

Since inception, Neora Independent Brand Partners collectively contributed $3 million through monthly commission donations. Neora is excited to continue to lend monetary and volunteer support to Neora Ripple Foundation partners and has pledged to increase its support with a new global goal of $1.8 million in 2016. We also:

  • Supported at-risk youth in BBBS mentoring program
  • Provided a Slight Edge for Teens workshop
  • Joined World Vision Mexico on two mission trips
  • Earned four international PR News awards for Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Named 2015 President’s Award winner for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America
  • Received Honorary Corporate Partner for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America

7. What happens to my donations?

Brand Partner donations are deducted from your monthly commissions checks and sent to the charitable partner for your country. In the U.S., Canada, Australia and Austria, that is Big Brothers Big Sisters. For Mexico, Colombia and Korea, the partner is World Vision. The Neora Ripple Foundation does not withhold any funds or fees.

In the U.S., Big Brothers Big Sisters has the following arrangement with their local agencies:

  • One hundred percent of the funds raised from Bowl for Kids’ Sake go to the local agency nearest the event.
  • One hundred percent of the funds raised from Lemonade for Littles go to the local agency nearest the Brand Partner’s home address.
  • The funds donated at Get Real support Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, with a portion contributed to the local agency nearest the event.
  • Brand Partner monthly contributions support both the local agency nearest the Brand Partner’s home address and the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America national office. Seventy percent of the amount goes to the local agency, with 30 percent reserved for the national office.

In Canada, Big Brothers Big Sisters has the following arrangement with their local agencies:

  • One hundred percent of the funds raised from Bowl for Kids’ Sake go to the local agency nearest the event.
  • One hundred percent of the Brand Partner commissions donations go to the local agency nearest the Brand Partner’s home address.
  • The funds donated at Get Real support Big Brothers Big Sisters Canada, with a portion contributed to the local agency nearest the event.

In Mexico, funds raised from Brand Partner monthly commissions contributions and Get Real go to support children living in poverty in those countries.

In Korea, funds raised from Brand Partner monthly commissions contributions and Get Real go to support children living in poverty in a community near Seoul, with a 5 percent fee reserved by World Vision International.
